Who are we? The Solar Wave Group AG is a photovoltaics company specializing in the development, acquisition, and management of solar power plants. Our main solar power plant location is in Portugal, where we own and operate an area of approximately 143,000 m². We plan to add solar panels on our free 75.000 m² of additional land in the region.

In addition, we operate since 2023 a 25,000m2 solar park in Cyprus.

SolarWave Group AG is the Swiss holding of the daughter companies in Portugal and Cyprus. Rui Pimenta, owner and founder of the SolarWave company structure, is keen on expanding in project development, management and operating our own solarparks.

Our projects

In Portugal, the Pimenta family, led by Rui Pimenta, has been successfully implementing their solar project in the Ferreira do Alentejo region for several years.

In this region, solarpanels are very attractive. We operate our 35,670 Solarpanels since 2022 on 143,000m2 land. One panel has the power of 700 W.

Besides adding panels on our freelaying 75,000m2, we are developing and managing other projects in Portugal and Europe.

Due to its geographical location and climatic conditions, Portugal offers enormous potential for solar energy. With an average of 2,000 hours of sunshine per year, especially in regions such as Ferreira do Alentejo, the country is ideal for the use of photovoltaics.

Besides our solarpark in Portugal, SolarWave Group AG operates and owns a smaller solarpark of 25,000m2 in Cyprus.

Cyprus offers exciting and lucrative business opportunities for renewable energies, not least through subsidies from the European Union.

SolarWave Group AG is planning also to offer it´s project development and management services in Cyprus.
